By accessing or using Mellow Miles, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Mellow Miles is a driving wellness application that helps users understand driving patterns and stress indicators.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license to use the Service.

4. How the Service Works

• Passive data collection during drives
• Post-drive review and reflection only when parked
• Optional, user-initiated music interventions

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Interact with the app while actively driving
• Use the Service as medical or mental health treatment
• Share your account credentials
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to access systems without authorization

6. Safety Disclaimers

Mellow Miles is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. You are responsible for safe vehicle operation at all times. In emergencies, call local emergency services or 988.

7. Device Requirements and Permissions

The Service requires background location access and may request motion, HealthKit, Bluetooth, and notifications. You can revoke permissions, but functionality may be limited.

8. Data Accuracy and Limitations

Sensor data and stress detection are probabilistic and may be inaccurate. Route tracking depends on GPS availability and signal quality.

9. Subscriptions and Billing

If subscriptions are offered, billing is handled through the platform store. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time through the platform settings.

10. Data Ownership and Privacy

You retain ownership of your data. We do not sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

11. Intellectual Property

All Service content and branding are owned by Mellow Miles or its licensors. You may not reverse engineer or reproduce the Service.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mellow Miles is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating a claim, contact legal@mellowmiles.app for informal resolution. Arbitration or local legal procedures may apply based on jurisdiction.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
